Living Basil is grown hydroponically in our 6000 sq. ft. state of the art greenhouse. No conventional herbicides, fungicides or pesticides are used. The basil typically takes 40 days from seeding to reach maturity. HerbCo grows the "aroma" cultivar for its heady fragrance and great taste.

Living Basil is HerbCo's freshest expression of great taste. Each package of Living Basil contains basil plants with their root bundles still intact. To enjoy basil fresh off the plant, just snip off the number of leaves needed at time of preparation, and add to your favorite dish. There is no fresher way to enjoy basil!

- Do not refrigerate. Also, don't plant outside!
- Keep roots moist. Keep watered to just below top of root bundle for best results.
