Part of the 40 acres of Italian basil planted in 2007, from 1.1 million starts. A portion of the well-tended acre of tarragon under production. Each long block is 4 plants wide by 300 feet long.

HerbCo grows two types of sage, covering about three acres: common sage, and ‘Biergarten’ sage, shown here. Young rosemary plants bask in the summer sun. Both ‘Silverback’ and ‘Arp’ varieties are grown on four acres of prime farmland in Duvall.

Rows of Italian and opal basil are framed by two simple tunnels (used to promote an early crop) with Mt. Rainier in the background.
